Woven rubbers
Woven rubber is one of the elastic bands that are less elastic, stronger and more durable. The polyester fiber weave from which they are made is tight and gives this type of rubber a very high resistance to stretching. Woven belts can be used on trousers (by sewing into seams of trousers) or jackets (such as hems on the sleeves and waist).
This type of rubber is also extremely popular in footwear. It can be easily integrated into high shoe designs to facilitate shoeing, and can also be used in sports shoes that remain stable on the feet without the need for velcro or laces. The rubber bands with a smaller width can also be used to sew slightly stretchable straps into sandals. Elastic tapes with larger widths are suitable for upholstering furniture, as well as for sewing chair covers.
